2024-2025 Safe and Inclusive School Plan
Our school is committed to providing all students with a safe, caring, and inclusive learning environment free from bullying and harassment that promotes respect, acceptance, and empathy.
Staff, students, parents and caregivers, and community partners will work together as a team to help make our school safe and welcoming for everyone.
The Safe and Inclusive School Plan highlights some of the key actions that our school community will put in place as part of our bullying prevention and intervention efforts.
Key Priorities and Goals
This year we are focusing on building a sense of belonging in the PET students.
We are doing this to build on our understanding of inclusivity, identity, and individuality. Students who have a sense of belonging to our school community will reduce toxic behaviour and increase positive outcomes.
Key Actions or Strategies
- Honour student voice through democratic processes, including an active student council
- Build learning activities that stem from student interests.
- Continue building capacity in the areas of inquiry and project based learning.
- Focus on learning about the identities around us so we have an understanding of who shapes our community.
Community and Home Connections
- Ask your child about The United Nations Convention on the Rights
- Try building a ‘who am I’ board at home with your child to solidify their identity.
